我们谨以两岸三地超声医学高端论坛主席和执行主席的名义，代表论坛组委会非常荣幸地邀请各位专家学者参加2008年10月10日－13日在厦门举行的“两岸三地超声医学高端论坛”。
“两岸三地超声医学高端论坛”是由厦门大学附属中山医院、厦门市医学会主办，中华医学会超声学会、香港中文大学威尔斯王子医院、首都医科大学附属北京安贞医院、台湾大学医学院附属医院、台湾阳明大学医学院台北荣民总医院和澳门镜湖医院协办的两岸三地超声医学盛会。会议将邀请大陆、台湾、香港、澳门三十多位著名专家就超声医学各领域，包括心脏、血管、小器官、妇产科、声学造影、经颅超声、术中超声、介入治疗等的最新研究进展进行专题讲座。
“两岸三地超声医学高端论坛”的主要任务是为海峡两岸超声医学领域的学者提供学术交流的平台，以利于广大同仁及时、准确的把握超声发展新动向，掌握新进展、新技术，捕捉新信息，建立广泛合作，促进超声医学的发展与提高。
厦门一直享有“海上花园”和“海上明珠”的美誉，被评为2004年度“联合国人居奖”、“中国花园式城市”以及“最佳环境保护城市”。厦门四面环海，青山滴翠。在这里，您将四季都享受和煦的阳光和宜人如春的天气。

Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the organizing committee of the Cross-Strait Tri-Regional Ultrasound in Medicine Summit Forum, it's our great pleasure to welcome you to take part in the Cross-strait Tri-Regional Ultrasound Medicine Summit Forum，to be held in Xiamen on October 10 to 13,2008.The forum is organized and hosted by Zhongshan Hospital of Xiamen University and Xiamen Society of Medicine, co-organized by Ultrasound Society of Chinese Medical Association, Prince of Wales Hospital of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Beijing Anzhen Hospital of the Capital Medical University, National Taiwan University Hospital, Taipei Veterans General Hospital of National Yang Ming University School of Medicine and  Macao Kiang Wu Hospital. 
The Forum aims to accommodate new developments and applications of ultrasound in medicine and provide a platform for ultrasonic colleagues from Mainland, Taiwan and Hongkong to exchange information with each other. More than thirty distinguished scientists will be invited to present their original scientific works on wide-range of topics in the field of cardiac, vascular, small parts, gynecologic and obstetric, contrast-enhanced , transcranial Doppler, intraoperative and interventional ultrasound.
Xiamen enjoys the reputation of a “Garden on the Sea” and a “Glittering Pearl on the Sea”. It has been awarded the titles of “UN Human Inhabitants Award” in 2004, “the Cleanest City of China”, “the Garden City of China” and “China's Model City in Environmental Protection” in recent years. Xiamen, a city of green mountains surrounded by blue sea, enjoys moderate climate and sunshine all year round.
